Three Phase Power on Site, Without the Noise Complaint
Three-phase equipment does not care how remote the site is. Pumps, compressors, chillers and workshop machinery all expect 415 volts and when the mains do not reach or do not hold, the work stops.
The Kubota KJ-T130 puts 12.5kVA of three-phase power wherever you need it, at 17.4 amps per phase, from a weatherproof cabinet running a Kubota D1703 three-cylinder diesel at 1500rpm. It also gives you 240 volts single phase off the same machine, so lighting and tools run alongside the three-phase load.
Why 1500rpm Matters on a Three Phase Diesel Generator
Engine speed is the difference between a generator that works hard for a few years and one that works quietly for a decade. At 1500rpm the KJ-T130 turns at half the speed of a typical portable, which means less wear, less noise and a service life measured in thousands of hours rather than hundreds.
It is a four-pole alternator, revolving field and self-excited brushless, so there are no brushes to wear out or replace. Voltage regulation holds to 3.5 percent from no load to full load, which matters when you are running motors and electronics on the same circuit.
Built for Continuous Commercial Duty
This is a machine built to run, not to be carried. At 470 kilograms it stays where you put it, with forklift access and lifting points for when it has to move between sites.
The digital control panel is a Deep Sea DSE4520 with full engine and alternator monitoring, an hour counter and two-wire remote start. The 37 litre tank gives 9.3 hours of continuous running at full load, so a full working day needs one fill.
Every service point is reachable without dismantling the cabinet and the shutdown system covers oil pressure, water temperature, low fuel, alternator charge failure and voltage or frequency drift.
Safety and Protection as Standard
The KJ series carries a comprehensive shutdown system as standard. The engine stops on abnormal oil pressure or water temperature, on low fuel, on alternator charge failure and on over or under voltage, frequency, current or power.
It also shuts down if the engine room door is opened or the load centre cover is removed while running. There is an emergency stop button on the outside of the cabinet and the control panel door locks to keep the instrument panel protected from weather and interference.

Is the KJ-T130 the Right Size for You?
Sizing a three phase diesel generator comes down to starting current, not just running load. Motors and compressors draw several times their rated current at the moment they start and that surge is what determines the machine you need.
At 12.5kVA the KJ-T130 suits a small workshop, a rural pumping or irrigation setup, a site office with three-phase tooling or refrigeration on a farm. If your starting loads are heavier, step up to the KJ-T180 at 18kVA or the KJ-T300 at 30kVA. If you only need single phase, the KJ-S130 gives the same 12.5kVA at 240 volts.
