30kVA of Three Phase Power for Operations That Cannot Afford Downtime
At thirty kilovolt-amps you are no longer buying backup, you are buying continuity. This is the size that keeps a production line moving, a cold store cold or a commercial building's essential services running when the mains go down.
The Kubota KJ-T300 delivers 30kVA continuous of three-phase power at 415 volts, 41.7 amps per phase, from a Kubota V3300 four-cylinder diesel at 1500rpm. It also provides 240 volts single phase from the same machine for lighting, office and ancillary circuits.
Why 30kVA Is a Continuity Decision
Thirty kilovolt-amps carries multiple three-phase loads at once with headroom for motor starting. A cold store with several compressors. A workshop running machinery, extraction and compressed air together. A commercial building's lifts, pumps and essential lighting.
The V3300 is a four-cylinder water-cooled diesel rated at 27.6kW continuous, turning at 1500rpm. That combination is built for hours of continuous full-load operation rather than short emergency bursts, which is exactly what a continuity application demands.
Built for Serious Commercial Duty
At 880 kilograms the KJ-T300 is a permanent installation. The cabinet is weatherproof, the control panel door locks and every routine service point is reachable from outside without dismantling panels.
The Deep Sea DSE4520 digital control panel provides full engine and alternator monitoring, an hour counter for planned maintenance and two-wire remote start for automatic mains failure changeover.
The alternator is revolving field, self-excited and brushless with Class H insulation, holding voltage regulation to 3.5 percent from no load to full load. There are no brushes to wear out and no drive belt to adjust, which matters on a machine expected to start on demand for years.
Safety and Protection as Standard
The KJ series carries a comprehensive shutdown system as standard. The engine stops on abnormal oil pressure or water temperature, on low fuel, on alternator charge failure and on over or under voltage, frequency, current or power.
It also shuts down if the engine room door is opened or the load centre cover is removed while running. There is an emergency stop button on the outside of the cabinet and the 68 litre tank gives 8.8 hours at full load.

Is the KJ-T300 the Right Size for You?
At 30kVA the KJ-T300 suits cold storage, light manufacturing, a commercial building's essential services, a substantial workshop or an irrigation and pumping operation where several three-phase motors start and run together.
If your loads are lighter the KJ-T180 at 18kVA will cost meaningfully less. If you want the same 30kVA with a bunded fuel tank and twenty-four hour run time, the SQ3300B is the machine to compare it against and it is worth a conversation about which suits your site.
